spotting during ovulation?
my wife and I have been trying to get pregnant for some time now. I have gotten to know her cycle sometimes better then her… We test her LH surge.. This month she had her period and like clock work a week after it ended her LH surge was up so it was off to the races.. this morning she woke up and when she wiped herself there was a spott of red blood not enough to wear a linner though. what could this mean ????

finding my ovulation date…?
I have been having somewhat irregular periods over the past 6 months and recently I’ve been trying to pin down my possible ovulation day…my husband and I are trying to conceive.
right now I just am counting 14 days into my cycle (which supposedly is average for most women) and then testing for my LH surge during that week…but to no avail…
does anyone know approximately how many days after an egg goes unfertilized does a woman start her menses?…or does that matter?
p.s. I understand that my periods have become somewhat irregular…I have had a 42 day cycle, and the longest was 48 days (not consecutively).my husband and I believe that it was because of a miscarriage…before this I was having 28-30 day cycles for 12 years…I have the schedule to allow for tracking bbt and I don’t really produce a lot of cervical mucus, so I have nixed those methods.

If you are having a hard time because your periods are irregular and you are really ttc then you should buy the ovulation kits that way you know for sure when you will start ovulating.
I was going crazy ttc and after 9 months i came across a friend who told me that she onced heard that the vitamin supplement geritol in the liquid form helped a friend of hers who had been ttc for over 10 years!!!!!.i immediately went running to the pharmacy and purchased a bottle. That month i got pregnant. I now swear by it. Im 18 weeks pregnant today!
Of course make sure that you are having sex around ovulation and for those who dont know how that works go to barnes and nobles and buy the book “taking charge of your fertility”

When should I take a pregnancy test?
Had a period on 6-9 and 7-9 lh surge 8-8 a period on 8-19 and lh surge 9-10. Baby danced during ovulation and period has not come yet. When should we test for most accurate results and could I be preg?

My Lh Surge- I was to start testing on the 11th.?
The first day of my last cycle was aug. 1st. I started testing for Lh surge on the 11th. According to my calendar, I should be ovulating on the 15th. I still have not gotten a positive result for an Lh surge. I test first thing in the morning, as the instructions suggest. I am using the clearblue easy ovulation test. I later have read to test later during the day or even the second urination?? Should I change the time when I test or keep testing first thing in the morning? Also, does anybody know when about I should be seeing that Lh surge? This is my first time using the ovulation predictor tests.

As I understand it your ovulation should occur betwwen 7 and 11 days after the 1st day of your period. You need to allready have his sperm inside you when you ovulate. The sperm can last inside you up to 3 days – your egg is only viable for about 12 hours.
Every woman is different but once you find your ovulation (in number of days after the first day of your period) it should be pretty close to that each time.

How long unfertilized egg in woman’s body will survive every month?
I’m planning to go for a family and wanted to know when is the best time to have sex during ovulation, I’m using Clearblue Ovulation Kit which points out LH Surge on 15th day which shows before 24-32 hrs prior to actual ovulation, actually I ovulate on every 16th day of the month. So I’m not sure how long an unfertilized egg will survive in our bodies?When is the best time to have sex?

The egg resides for 24-48 hours. Then it passes (unnoticed).
If you have sex when the LH surge is detected that is good. Do it again the next day. There have been some recent studies that show that frequent ejaculation (for the male) keeps sperm quality high. Start a few days before you expect the LH surge and keep it going!

Ps – I know that after too many months it stops being fun – really the day of the LH surge and the next day or 2 are the best days to BD.
